The "Argus" is a real highlight on South Africa's sporting calendar. The 109 kilometer race is completed by tens of thousands of cyclists from all over the world, making it the largest individually timed cycling event in the world! The route takes the riders along the Atlantic Ocean and over the scenic Chapman's Peak drive.
If you are in or near Cape Town that time of year, be (extra) alert for cyclists. When you are in the Mother City on the day itself, join the crowd or better still: register early to take part in the event yourself!
