Want to make a real difference to the youth of South Africa’s townships? Bafanakids supports football clubs in these impoverished areas. For only 1500 Euros you can sponsor your own football team. This non-profit project is supported by professional organisations like Ajax Cape Town and looks beyond the 2010 football World Cup.
PROJECT INFORMATION All over the world sport is connecting people. It brings them together with an unspoken language that everybody understands. Sportsmen and women are considered heroes and looked up to by children. With this project, Abang Africa Trust in conjunction with Ajax Cape Town and Zipping Zebra, want to bring that dream closer to reality and you can help! With a minimum amount of EUR 1500 per annum you can support one of the underprivileged football teams in South Africa.

Another exciting extra is that you will be able to visit the new Green Point Stadium which will be used as the Cape Town stadium during the World Cup in 2010. Before going into the new Green Point Stadium you will get a virtual tour of the 2010 stadium.
‘The Greensman’ is doing a multi-media theatre performance; learn about the history of Green Point Common where they are building a new stadium for the Soccer World Cup in 2010. After that you will be taken on a guided bus tour onto the soccer pitch of the 2010 Stadium under construction. This additional visit is already possible from ZAR 20 per person.
