PROJECT INFORMATION
The Nodumo crèche is situated in the rural area of KwaMthethwa, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
The creche, run by the local community, takes care of many children who have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS. The creche has been in existence since 2000.
Most of these children are now raised by aging grandmothers who can hardly afford to feed them. The crèche is was housed in the local church and thanks to a generous fundraising organised by Mrs. N de Leeuw from Holland were we able to erect a own building for the creche. The needs of this project vary from tables and chairs, a stove, educational material, blankets, cups, plates and toys to food. There are currently 40-50 children at the crèche.
Visitors interested in the education of children are welcome, donations can also be made in the form of toys, blankets and various other supplies are always welcome.
